All Youths / Seniors are welcome.
Training for June will be on Saturdays or Sundays as per ClubZap, while training in July and August will take place Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday mornings, times may be adjusted. As with previous years it is anticipated most days will be an 8am start.

Youth 14 -18 years (Born 2007 - 2011)
The Munster Youth Regional competition for Youths will take place in County Waterford on Saturday 09th / 10th of August 2025 (beach to be confirmed).
Attendance at the Youth Munster Regional competition is mandatory for all Youth competitors. If your child will not be available for the competition dates outlined above, then we would ask that you please do not take the place of another child who would be available to compete.

For those who qualify the National Youth Competition, this competition will take place on the 16th / 17th of August (beach to be confirmed).
Senior 18 years and older (Born 2007 or earlier)
The National Senior competition will take place in Ardmore, County Waterford on Saturday 20th September.

To register – Download the ClubZap App. and follow Clare Water Safety.
Go to 'Clubhouse' (Bottom RHS) on the ClubZap App. and then into 'Membership'. From there choose ‘Renew Your Membership’ if you were a 2024 Summer Youth or Senior or 'Become a NEW member' and select the 'Summer Surf Lifesaving Membership 2025 package and complete the registration.
Register all the family (Nipper, Junior, Senior, Master) in one go as there are discounts for multiple family members joining. The discount cannot be applied if family members are registered at different times.

14-year-olds (born 2011) can train as both a Nipper and Youth but should register only once, as a Nipper. (Nipper training should be prioritized.)
If your Youth / Senior is new to Sea/Beach training, they can register but they must be assessed before commencing training. Assessment will take place at the next training session at Whitestrand, Miltown Malbay (Any registration fees paid will be refunded if your child is unable to complete the assessment). Assessments will only take place in June. Please make yourself known to the coaches prior to the session.
Youth Senior Summer 2025 Chat Group
All Youth parents and Senior Parents (Senior Parents of Seniors under the age of 18) and Seniors must join the “Youth Senior Summer 2025” Chat Group - To join - Download the ClubZap App. and follow Clare Water Safety.
Go to 'Chat' on the ClubZap App. and tap the chat bubble (Bottom RHS). You can then request to join the ' Youth Senior Summer 2025' chat group.
Training info. with date, time and location of the next training session will only be posted in the chat group. Any changes to scheduled training due to weather conditions will also be posted here and may be at short notice.
