😊 Nippers will be getting back in the sea on Sunday June 12th at 11am in the Whitestrand Miltown Malbay 😊
All Nippers are welcome.
Training in June will take place every Sunday from June 12th
Training in July and August will take place every Saturday, Tuesday and every second Thursday.
The Regional competition will take place on August 20th. The National competition will take place on August 27th.
Little Nippers 8-11 years (born 2011 - 2014)
Big Nippers 12-14 years (born 2008 - 2010)
Nipper Sea/Beach training is not about teaching your child how to swim but rather teaching your child Surf Lifesaving skills.
These skills are taught in a competitive format and all Nippers get to display skills gained at competition in august.
Nipper membership is primarily dependent on:
- Competitors being confident in the open water.
- Competitors being able to swim approx. 100m front crawl, with face mainly in the water breathing to the side.
- Competitors committing to competing for their club at the Regional and National competitions (if they qualify for the National competition).
